We are honoured to announce that Adam Kawa & Piotr Krewski led a special WHUG & Data Sciene Warsaw meetup that took place in University of Warsaw Library on January 19th, 2017. There were more than 100 participants and we have received really positive feedback from after the event.

Abstract: Apache Hadoop technology has been known for over decade but there are many people who did not have a pleasure to meet yellow elephant yet or know only it’s basic elements. During their performance Adam and Piotr presented a few popular technologies as HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark and Flink. They shared their knowledge and experience they acquired when working for Spotify, Trucaller and GetInData.
